Ferris State University has received a $1.2 million grant to establish a program that will help low-income students in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines.

 

The grant from the National Science Foundation with help the school's Sustainable, Scalable Scholarships, Opportunities, Achievements and Results program.

 

The program's goal is to not only increase STEM enrollment, but to increase retention and graduation rates.
