Officials from the Village of Mecosta received a donation of $10,000 from Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA) to support the construction of a new community well in Bromley Park.

The donation will fund the cost of drilling the well, and Nestle Waters will also have contract with an environmental engineering firm to support the Village in obtaining the necessary permits and help oversee the project.

“We are very grateful to Nestlé Waters North America for their generosity. Their financial contributions will provide a much-needed source of water for residents and visitors who utilize Bromley Park,” said Steven Bishop, President of the Village of Mecosta. “The company has been a long-time supporter of the Village, through water donations and event sponsorships and we greatly appreciate their continued commitment.”

Mecosta Revitalization, a local volunteer group, was instrumental in securing Nestle Waters participation in the project.

The project is scheduled to begin this month with a planned completion date of spring 2019.
