The former superintendent of Shelby Public Schools in West Michigan will stand trial this summer on embezzlement charges.
The trial for 54-year old Scott Lund of new era will begin July 26th in Oceana County Circuit Court.
He's charged with embezzlement by a public official over $50 and retaining a financial transaction device without consent.
Lund is accused of using $13,000 in school funds to buy himself a number of items for personal use including a large-screen tv set, a treadmill, three iPads, material to build a deck and gasoline cards.
The alleged embezzlement’s happened from November 1
