Investigation continues into disappearance of Barryton woman

61The investigation into the disappearance of Kristin Louise Spires continues. Spires, from Barryton, was last seen May 14th when she was dropped off for a weekend stay in Big Rapids. Since then, there has been no contact to family or friends. The Michigan State Police mobile crime lab was at residence on Woodward yesterday where Spires was last know to be.

Investigation continues for missing person

Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office Detective Casey Nemeth says one person has been cleared and another is scheduled for a polygraph later this month in the case of missing person Kristin Louise Spires. Spires, who is from Barryton, has been missing since May 14th after being dropped off for a weekend stay in Big Rapids. According to Nemeth, Spires has not been in any contact with friends and family since that weekend. Spires has dyed blonde hair and blue eyes, is about 5-foot-3, and weighs 140 pounds.
