The "Tea Party" is dead and will not appear on the November ballot. The Michigan Supreme Court today on a 5-2 vote denied the group's appeal of a Court of Appeals decision that agreed with the Board of State Canvassers in kicking the group off the ballot. Republicans have claimed the group is a democratic front and is not representative of the real tea party movement.
