State Police need help in identifying this couple accused of stealing credit card

Michigan State Police need your help identifying two people caught on surveillance video using a stolen credit card. Troopers say a woman had her wallet stolen from a gas station in Big Rapids on September 24th. Within a few hours, the card was used at several locations in Howard City and Cedar Springs. Troopers say they're looking for the man and woman believed to be driving a silver car, possibly a late 2000's Chevrolet Aveo. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Michigan State Police Mount Pleasant Post.

Three arrested in drug bust at Montcalm Co. motel

Three people were arrested in a drug bust over the weekend in Montcalm County. Sheriff Deputies say the suspects were staying at the Flat River Inn in Greenville Saturday when they searched their room. Police say a male suspect had several outstanding warrants and some meth while the two other female suspects had more drugs, including meth, narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies searching for two suspects who robbed resale store in Osceola County

Deputies in Osceola County are searching for two men who were dressed in camouflage clothing and robbed a resale store in Evart Township over the weekend. Deputies say the robbery happened shortly after 8:30 Saturday morning at Second Hand City, on U.S. 10.The two white men entered the store, assaulted the owner and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Deputies say the suspects left store, heading eastbound toward Evart in a robin egg blue Ford Ranger pickup.

Update: Suspects in custody after fleeing the scene of an arrest in Morton Twp. face charges

Two suspects who fled the scene of an arrest this morning in Morton Township are in custody and now face charges. Mecosta County Detective Casey Nemeth says the two suspects were in possession of a stolen vehicle from Wyoming, Michigan and face obstruction of justice charges as well. The suspects, a Hispanic male and a black male, both approximately 17-18 years of age, handcuffed together. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Michigan State Police K9 units and helicopter. They are expected to be arraigned today

Man and woman arrested in connection to Marion gas station robbery

A 46-year old Osceola County woman and a 23-year old downstate man were arrested in connection to the armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station In Marion last month. Police say the 46-year old female suspect from Marion turned herself in Thursday after a warrant was issued. She is charged with being an accessory to a felony, harboring a felon and being a felon in possession of a firearm. The 23-year old male suspect from Monroe County was arrested on March 20th on an unrelated charge but yesterday was charged by Osceola County authorities with armed robbery 4th time habitual offender status.

Terror suspects hoping for release

Lawyers for nine suspected domestic terrorists will be back in court today to argue that their clients should be released on bond. Hutaree militia defense lawyers have argued group members are not dangerous and not a threat to the community. But U.S. District Judge Victoria Roberts, who is considering whether to release them from custody as they prepare for trial on conspiracy and weapons of mass destruction charges, says defense lawyers must show their clients aren't as dangerous as the government claims.
