Six men ranging in ages from 18 to 21 have been formally charged with with multiple counts including third degree criminal sexual conduct after being accused of sexually assaulting a 13 year old Big Rapids girl. The men, 21 year old Taylor Robert Carter of Grand Rapids, 19 year old Jalen Harvey-Alexander Carter of Kalamazoo, 18 year old Colby Lee Conklin of Rodney and Big Rapids residents 18 year old Michael D’Andre Smith, 19 year old Kyle Robert Tait and 19 year old Aaron Virgil Tait have all been charged with multiple counts of Third degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. Officials say the accused turned themselves in to the Big Rapids Department of Public Safety on October 25th and 26th . They were arraigned on criminal sexual conduct charges and later released on $10,000 bond. The men are due back in court.on November 29th for a pretrial conference.
