Grand Rapids man charged with retail fraud at after shoplifting at Walmart

A Grand Rapids man who was arrested Friday at the Walmart in Big Rapids was arraigned in Mecosta County Court Monday. 42 year old Randy Scott Allen has been charged with retail fraud in the 1st degree, possession of a control substance cocaine less than 25 grams, possession of marijuana, and driving on a suspended license. Scott tried to make off with three 32 inch T.V.'s, an HP computer, and other hair and body products. He is currently being held at the Mecosta County Jail on a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled for a pretrial hearing Tuesday morning at 10 AM.
