Eldred was born August 21, 1920 in Millbrook Twp.,Mecosta, County, MI, to Raymond Dee & Susie May (Chapin) Eldred. Viva died Tuesday June 21, 2011 at her home in Mt. Pleasant, Mi. to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After her first husband’s death (Lewis Koop), Viva married Robert Sherman McLanson on Jan. 1, 1997 at the Chippewa Hills Baptist Church in Remus, MI. Viva is survived by her husband Robert McLanson, four children, Rev. Lindow Lewis (Sandra Lynn) Koop, Geraldine Judy (Bernie Carter) Yohe, Clayton Albert (Jackie Dolores) Koop, and Chaplain (MAJ) Raymond Carl (Shirley Jean) Koop. Eighteen Grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren. Viva was preceded in death by her first husband Lewis, son Vernon and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services: 10:00 am Saturday June 25, 2011 at the Chippewa Hills Baptist Church of Remus, MI. Officiating will be Pastor Charles Richardson. Visitation 2 to 8 PM on Friday June 24, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial in Decker Cemetery of Blanchard. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Chippewa Hills Baptist Church.
