GOP Convention problems
Thu, September 2, 2010

Republican Gubernatorial candidate Rick Snyder concedes there were some logistical issues at the state GOP Convention in East Lansing last weekend. Hundreds of delegates stood in line for several hours, under the boiling sun to get into the convention hall and once inside, the Tea Party contingency disrupted the proceedings when they tried to install their own candidate for Lieutenant Governor.
Democrats got wind of the confusion and it didn't take long for Party Chairman Mark Brewer to take a swipe at Snyder asking that if the Ann Arbor businessman can't run a convention, how can he run the state?
Snyder refused to respond during questioning by reporters Wednesday following his appearance before michigan agriculture officials in Lansing.
