Mt. Pleasant woman faces 5 years in prison if convicted of stealing prescription drugs

A Mount Pleasant woman is facing federal charges of stealing more than $1,000 dollars worth of prescription drugs from a location on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation in Isabella County in August. According to the U.S. Attorney's office 33-year old Jamie Gibisas altered the labels on medications and made it look like the cost was covered by insurance, when it was not. If found guilty, she could face up to 5 years in prison. Image by (renjith krishnan)
