Big Rapids Media announces reveals 2026 football radio teams.
The fall season on the gridiron is almost here and Big Rapids Media has officially announced its radio and coverage teams for football, including a new full time pairing. Here are the lineups:
Reed City High School
The dynamic duo of Brandon Wirth and Mark Holcomb return for the third season together calling Coyote football on Y-102 and WYBR.com. Wirth and Holcomb boast over a combined 15 years of broadcasting sports at the high school and college levels, including football, basketball, soccer, hockey, and softball.
Both took part in last year’s debut season of Coyote boys and girls basketball, which was also on Y-102.

Big Rapids High School
Cardinal football returns this fall to Big Country 100.9 FM and WWBR.com. Fresh off his debut season with the network, Jack Heckman will take over as play-by-play voice of Cardinal football this fall. Heckman took over Big Rapids Basketball this past winter and previously served as the lead studio correspondent and board operator last fall.
Joining Heckman will be Big Rapids High School senior Owen Strickler, who will be entering his first season on air in the color commentary role. The Cardinal golf standout filled in for last year’s rivalry game with Heckman.
