Police in Osceola County believe alcohol was a factor in a quad runner motorcycle accident over the weekend.

It happened in Cedar Township, deputies say a Jackson man who was found unresponsive was operating the quad when he fell off.

They say the man was not wearing a helmet.

The Jackson man was airlifted to a Grand Rapids area hospital for treatment.

The accident remains under investigation.
