A 24-year old Hubbardston woman is now charged with the death of a 10-year old amish boy following a car/buggy accident back in March. 

Tiffany Christiansen was charged with a misdemeanor count of committing a moving violation causing death. 

On March 15th, a 2011 GMC Terrain Christiansen was operating struck a horse and buggy while traveling Fenwick Road. The buggy was occupied by a 13-year old and 10-year old boy, who are from ther Carson City area. The 10-year old boy died a few days after being taken to DeVos Childeren's Hospital. 

According to the original press release by police, speed didn't appear to be a factor; however the angle of the bright morning sun may have played a role. 

Christiansen faces up to a year in jail, if convicted.
