As the state decides whether Nestle should double the groundwater drawn from White Pine Springs in Osceola County, a study funded by the company has been released to show their contribution to Michigan's economy. 

According to the report, Nestle created over 750 jobs and $160-million dollars in economic output statewide.

Nestle says the report has nothing to do with the groundwater debate, but environmental groups see the report as part of Nestle's marketing strategy. 

The Department of Enviromental Quality has not disclosed a timeline for reaching a decision.
