A Big Rapids man is recovering following a car accident in Green Township this morning.

Deputies say it happened on 195th Avenue just south of 20 Mile Rd.

A 37-year old Big Rapids man was heading northbound on 195th when he drifted off the road, went through a fence and hit a tree.

He was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
