Two Lakeview residents are recovering following a car accident in Mecosta County Wednesday.

It happened on 5mile rd near 125th ave in Deerfield twp.

Deputies say the driver, a 43-year old Lakeview woman was traveling westbound on 5 mile when she lost control, left the road, striking a tree.

She sustained minor injuries.

Her passenger, A 66-year old Lakeview woman sustained minor injuries.

Both occupants were taken to Kelsey Hospital.
