A Lakeview man has been charged with crimes connected to a theft last month at Menards in Big Rapids Township.

42-year old Daniel Michael Cross has been charged with one count of first-degree retail fraud.

The charge stems from a theft on January 21st, when its alleged that Cross took items valued at $1,000 or more from Menards.

Cross faces up to five years in jail, if convicted.
