A Morley man is charged after he allegedly assaulted a police officer early Sunday morning.
Mecosta County Sheriff Deputies say they were called to a residence to investigate a domestic complaint.
When officers arrived to the scene, they made contact with the 25-year old suspect.
The Morley man failed to comply with deputies.
While deputies attempted to take the suspect into custody, he began to fight with police. When a deputy deployed a taser, the suspect attempted to disarm the officer.
When the suspect was taken into custody, he was found to be in possession of a knife which was concealed in his pocket.
The Morley man is expected to be arraigned on multiple felony charges.
