A 25-year old Morley man accused of assaulting a police officer on Sunday has been identified and arraigned.

The Mecosta Co. Sheriff's office says Juan Maldonado is being held in jail on $100,000 bond.

During an investigation of a domestic complaint, Maldonado is accused of fighting deputies.

When police took him into custody they found a knife in his pocket.
