The Newaygo Co. Emergency Manager will be holding a meeting to give area residents an update on the new flood warning system on the Muskegon River and what impacts it will have on current and future emergency notifications for their specific neighborhoods.

The Community Meeting will be staffed with representatives from various local, state, and federal agencies who will provide the most current information about flood monitoring and communications resources, flood warning, flood response, and mitigation resources.

The meeting will be held this Thursday from 6pm-8pm at Newaygo High School.
