A hearing for a Central Michigan University student accused of murdering his parents in a dorm room has been postponed.

James Davis Jr. is undergoing treatment after he was found incompetent to stand trial.

Investigators say the 19-year old took his father's gun from the car and shot James and Diva Davis in early March inside of Campbell Hall.

Davis' attorney says the 19-year old man is undergoing treatment in an attempt to have him regain competency.

No date for a competency review has been scheduled.
