A 49-year old Sparta man was sent to the hospital following a car accident in Mecosta County.

It happened on northbound US-131 just north of 11 Mile Rd in Mecosta Township.

Deputies believe fatigue was a factor in this accident.

They say the Sparta man was traveling northbound when he left the road and overturned his vehicle.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital for treatment of injuries.
