A Big Rapids woman is recovering after being thrown from her motorcycle Thursday.

It happened in Big Rapids Township on 230^th Avenue and 17 Mile Rd.

Deputies say the 36-year old woman was traveling southbound on 230^th Ave. when she lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle.

The woman was taken to Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
