Mecosta man sent to hospital after vehicle/tree accident

A 30-year old man from Mecosta was sent to the hospital last night after crashing his vehicle into a tree.

It happened on 120th ave south of 11 Mile Rd, Aetna Twp, deputies say the Mecosta man was taken to Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
