Deputies in Mecosta County say alcohol and careless driving played a factor in a car crash in Austin Township Saturday morning.

 

Police say an Investigation showed that the vehicle was doing donuts in the intersection on 170th Ave south of 8 Mile Rd before striking the stop sign.

 

The 21-year old driver from Big Rapids then continued southbound doing burn outs, lost control and struck a tree.

 

The passengers, a 22-year old woman from White Cloud, a 26-year old Stanwood man and a 22-year old Conklin woman all suffered non-life threatening injuries and were treated at SHBR. 

 

The driver had very minor injuries.
