A Montcalm County boy is dead after falling from a trailer and being hit by its wheels while trick-or-treating last night.

Michigan State Police say a group of kids were being taken around Sheridan by a tractor that was pulling an aluminum trailer and the ten year-old boy fell from it and was run over by its wheels.

He was taken to the hospital, but did not make it.
