Three Clare County Sheriff Deputies have been put on paid administration leave following the shooting death of a Harrison man.

 

Michigan State Police say deputies were called to a home in Lincoln Township last week for a felonious assault in progress.

 

Once deputies arrived on scene they were involved in a shooting.

 

42-year old Robert William Reid, was pronounced deceased on scene.

 

Preliminary autopsy results show Reid’s cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds.

 

An investigation is being conducted by the MSP.
