A man was sent to the hospital Saturday night following a car accident in Mecosta County.

Deputies say it happened just after 10 pm on Pierce Rd. near 170th Ave.

An investigation found a 54-year old male was traveling eastbound on Pierce road when a series of seizures caused him to leave the road.

EMS transported the male to Spectrum Health Big Rapids for possible life threatening injuries.
