A Central Lake man is dead following a car accident in Osceola County Sunday morning.

It happened on northbound US-131 HWY near US-10 HWY in Richmond Township.

Sheriff Ed Williams says deputies found a white 2017 Ford F150 had went off the road and came to rest against a sign post. Attempts to revive the man were made by citizens and responding personnel but were unsuccessful with life saving measures.

Upon preliminary investigation it is believed that 62-year old Roger Hibbard from Central Lake Michigan suffered a medical incident while driving.

This investigation is ongoing and a direct cause of death has not been determined, however, neither alcohol nor speed is believed to be a factor.
