Six officers were shot at Tuesday in west Michigan during a standoff.
Michigan State Police say they went to a camper in Yates Township, near Baldwin, to serve an arrest warrant, and when they arrived, the 50-year-old man began firing shots at officers.
No officers were hit, but the suspect barricaded himself inside the camper for several hours.
When he gave up, police say he had a self inflicted gunshot wound to his face and was being treated.
He was wanted for failing to appear on a drug related charge.
