Outpatient lab services are once again available within Spectrum Health Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals.

In late March, lab services were temporarily moved from inside each hospital as part of the hospital’s initial response to COVID-19. Services moved to the Diabetes Education building in Reed City and the Professional Office Building in Big Rapids.

“Our goal is to offer safe and convenient services to our patients,” said lab manager Shane Cornelius. “This change will offer convenience to the community, while allowing safe social distancing for our patients and staff.” “We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding,” Cornelius said.

Outpatient lab hours are weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at both locations inside each hospital.
