A 14-year old Mecosta County girl is charged as an adult following the attempted murder of another teenage girl.
Harley Elizabeth Feyerabend, was arraigned on Monday in Mecosta County's 77th District Court.
She was charged as an adult with attempted murder and assault with the intent to murder.
The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to a residence in Grant Township on a report of Feyerabend assaulting another teen with multiple weapons. Once police arrived, they learned the suspect allegedly used different knives and a hammer in an attempt to murder a 14-year-old Big Rapids Township girl.
The victim was taken to a Grand Rapids-based hospital for life-threatening injuries but is expected to recover.
Feyerabend's bond has been set at $750,000.
