A decision has been made by the Michigan Attorney General’s office regarding an Osceola County case from last October.
The case involved a man who died during a police situation where two Evart police officers were call to the domestic incident in Marion because they were closer at the time.
When officers arrived a man grabbed a knife. He was then tasered and fell on the knife killing him.
The Attorney General’s office has ruled there was nothing criminal about the officer’s actions and closed the case.
