The Michigan Economic Development Corporation have announced that 22 communities in the state who received grants to help with COVID-19 relief.
The city of Big Rapids was one of those communities.
They received $45,000 through the Match on Main grants that will help seven businesses that didn't receive help from the Paycheck protection Program that many others benefited from.
According to the press release, the grant helped retain 80 jobs in the Downtown Big Rapids area.
