UPDATE: 

Belknap has been found safe, she's been staying at the family member's home for the last two months. MSP didn't say why she seemed to be missing during that time.

 

 

The Michigan State Police are investigating a missing persons compliant in Newaygo County and are asking for the public's help.

 

Troopers say 52-yea old Valerie Joy Belknap, went missing between 9pm on 06/23/20 and 11am on 6/24/20.

 

She was last seen on foot in the area of Miramar and Croton Hardy Drive in Croton Twp.

 

Valerie was last seen wearing blue jeans and a yellow t-shirt.

 

She is said to be 52 years-old, W/F, 5’04”, 160 lbs, blue eyes and dark brown hair.
