More than 2,100 students moving into campus housing at Ferris State University in Big Rapids were screened for COVID-19 last week.
School officials say for the week of August 24, four positive cases on the Big Rapids campus were confirmed by the District Health Department #10 (DHD #10). The University is working closely with the health department to actively conduct contact tracing and provide assistance and support to those affected.
Students affected who reside on-campus have been moved to isolation housing.
A COVID-19 dashboard was created on the Ferris website to update positive cases on Thursday of each week by 5 p.m.
