The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 680 new cases and 11 new deaths on Wednesday.

 

Here in Mecosta County, according to the District Health Department #10 there are 163 cases since March however 88 positive cases are from those on campus at Ferris State in Big Rapids since August 24^th.

 

Since September 12^th there have been five hospitalizations at Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital due to COVID-19, according to the DHD#10 dashboard.

 

69 people in Mecosta County have also recovered from coronavirus since the month of March as well.
