The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 680 new cases and 11 new deaths on Wednesday.
Here in Mecosta County, according to the District Health Department #10 there are 163 cases since March however 88 positive cases are from those on campus at Ferris State in Big Rapids since August 24th.
Since September 12th there have been five hospitalizations at Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital due to COVID-19, according to the DHD#10 dashboard.
69 people in Mecosta County have also recovered from coronavirus since the month of March as well.
