In a letter sent out on Thursday night, Big Rapids Public Schools Superintendent Tim Haist confirmed a middle school student tested positive for COVID-19. 

The District Health Department #10 and BRPS staff are working together to investigate the situation and is work to identify the close contacts that will need to stay home in quarantine, Superintendent Tim Haist stated in a letter to parents.


Haist added,  As we become aware of new information, we will be sure to share it with you. Thank you again for your cooperation and understanding.”
