The road to the presidency moves to the Electoral College today.

In Michigan, 16 electors will gather in the state Senate chambers at two o'clock this afternoon to fill out certificates in support of President-elect Joe Biden.

The electors are selected by the Michigan Democratic Party since Biden won the election.

After today's certification, the next step will happen January 6th when the newly seated U-S Congress will count the Electoral College votes.
