6:14AM, Car/Deer PDC, Northland Drive/12 Mile Rd Big Rapids Twp, no tow

 

7:35AM, Personal Injury Accident (PIA), Arthur Rd/15th Ave Sheridan Twp, 27 yr old Remus woman lost control of her Ford plow truck and hit a Buick driven by a 58 yr old Remus man who was injured but refused treatment.  The Buick was towed.

 

9:44AM,  13 mile//120th Ave. Colfax Twp. Traffic Stop led to the arrest of a 33 yr old Rodney man for Driving While License Suspended (DWLS) No insurance, Possession of METH and an outstanding warrant for possession of METH out of Big Rapids PD  He was with a 27 yr old Lake female who was also arrested for an outstanding warrant for probation violation.

 

3:30PM, Walk in at Sheriff’s Office. suspicious complaint that took place yesterday afternoon at the Morley Depot.  A 73 yr old Morley man believes that the clerk may have held back his lottery winnings as she would not show him the ticket and then got upset and walked away.  Investigation continues.

 

6:51PM,  Car/Deer PDC  30th Ave/5 Mile  Millbrook Twp  No tow 

 

11:10PM,  Traffic Stop. Ninth St/Cass St. Aetna Township. Traffic stop for Improper Plate/No Proof of Insurance led to the arrest of a 43 year old Big Rapids man for Possession with Intent to Deliver Meth, possession of heroin, Felon in possession of a firearm. Heroin, crystal meth, scale/baggies, and firearm located hidden in the vehicle.  The 43 yrd old man was arrested on multiple felonies.
