Police believe alcohol played a role in a one car accident where the female driver rear ended a semi tractor trailer in Mecosta County Thursday evening. 


Deputies say it happened just after 6:30pm on US-131 near mile marker 125. 


An Investigation found that a 50-year old Rockford woman had rear ended a semi tractor trailer, traveled off road and then overturned.  


The Rockford woman was taken to Spectrum Health Big Rapids for non life threatening injuries.  


Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
