A Farmington Hills man is expected in court today for a hearing that will determine whether he will face trial for a shooting at an off-campus party at Central Michigan University.
CMU quarterback John Keller and fellow student Tyler Bunting were wounded when 21-year-old Kenneth Thomas allegedly opened fire in late April, shooting at random.
Police say Thomas was upset because he had been kicked out of the party following a fight.
Thomas is charged with several firearms-related felonies, along with assault with intent to commit murder.
