Michigan's minimum wage is increasing.
With the New Year, the standard wage jumps from $9.87 to $10.10 per-hour.
The tipped employee minimum wage is increasing to $3.84 per-hour.
Wages will continue increasing every year through 2030. This is due to legislation meant to curb a voter initiative passed in 2018 that would have seen the increases happen over a shorter period of time.
