BR City Commission meets tonight at City Hall

The Big Rapids City Commission meets for the first time in 2023 tonight at City Hall.

 

On the agenda, Commissioners will be presented a quarterly investment report by City Treasurer Carla Staffen.

 

In general business, Commissioners will be acting on a resolution extending the listing for a property on at 906 N. State Street. Commissioners will also be acting on a couple of resolutions regarding city income taxes. The first is amending the annual Interest rate of city income taxes. The second resolution is adopting poverty guidelines for administration of the poverty exemption from property taxes for 2023.

 

The meeting begins at 6:30pm.
