It is opening day for Jersey Mike's Subs in Big Rapids. 

 

 

Owners Mac and Mackenzie Ganzak from the Grand Rapids area saw a need in the Big Rapids community and knew this would be a perfect fit. 

 

"We are former athletes from Davenport University and ate a lot of subs  and love Jersey Mike's and we wanted to bring this restaurant to a college town, Big Rapids had a need and was a perfect fit." Makenzie said.   

 

One thing customers can expect is friendly, knowledgeable staff that like to have fun. 

 

"The music is going, people are having a good time, our staff is highly trained and skilled to slice and prep your sandwiches, it's a whole experience when you come here." Makenzie said. "We are really well-known for our cold subs but we also have hot subs as well. 

 

Makenzie also has a tip for customers. 

 

"If you get a  cold sub, always get it Mike's way!"
