The City of Big Rapids is looking for residents to fill various board positions.

City Communications Coordinator Lilly Franklin says they are looking to fill seats on Assessment Board of Review, Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, Compensation Commission, Dial-A-Ride Council, Property Maintenance Board of Appeals and Zoning Board of Appeals.

Franklin says it's a great way for residents to get involved with the city.
