A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect until Sunday, Feb. 9 at 7:00 A.M. for Isabella, Kent, Lake, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Osceola Counties.

Thw adivsory comes in light of expected total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches for portions of central and west central Michigan. Early bands will begin around 7:00 A.M. on Saturday and late bands will pass through by 7:00 A.M. on Sunday.

According to the NWS report, the heaviest snowfall will be Saturday afternoon. This could cause snow covered roads with rapidly changing conditions, especially along the US-10 corridor. Please slow down and use caution while traveling.
