WEATHER ALERT: Winter Storm Watch issued due to possible Wednesday afternoon snowstorm throughout West Michigan

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued by NWS Grand Rapids for Clare, Isabella, Kent, Lake, Mecosta, Montcalm, Newaygo, and Osceola Counties until Thursday, Feb. 13 at 7:00 A.M.

A potentially large-scale, heavy snowstorm will be possible for parts of West, West Central, and Southwestern Michigan from Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 12, through Thursday morning, Feb. 13. According to NWS forecasts, total snow accumulations of five to eight inches will be possible.

Travel could be very difficult during these times. Please plan accordingly and monitor up-to-date forecasts on NewsRadio WBRN.
