Evart Police: Weekly Blotter (2/3 - 2/9)

Monday, Feb. 3

  • Warrant Attempt - Officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of a local business. A subject in the vehicle was recognized and had a valid warrant. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Mecosta County where they were turned over to a Mecosta County Sheriff Deputy without incident. 

Tuesday, Feb. 4

  • Lost Property – Officers were dispatched to a lost property complaint. The subject advised they did not know where they lost their property at but wanted a report made.

Wednesday, Feb. 5

  • Civil – Officer was dispatched to a property dispute. Both parties were advised the matter would have to be resolved in court if they could not reach an agreement.

Thursday, Feb. 6

  • Area Check – Officers were dispatched to check on a subject who was intoxicated.  The subject was okay and had not violated any laws.

Friday, Feb. 7

  • Warrant Attempt - Officers assisted Osceola County Sheriff's Department with a subject who had felony warrants. The subject was arrested and lodged at Osceola County Jail.

  • Civil - An officer was dispatched for a civil dispute between neighbors. Both parties were advised to stop communicating with each other and not to go on each other’s property.

Saturday, Feb. 8

  • No incidents reported.

Sunday, Feb. 9

  • Disorderly - An officer was dispatched for a disorderly subject at a business. The subject took off prior to officer's arrival.
